“BRIX”…..you will no doubt hear that name again. He is the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department’s newest K-9 dog to hit the streets of Pierce County in WA State. We are confident this 17 month old police dog will be a crime fighting star because he the partnered with the K-9 Trainer himself, Deputy John Munson. The elite K-9 Unit of the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department has set the standard for Police K-9 Units throughout the country. One of the reasons for this is the cutting edge training that each K-9 team receives. Our guest today is responsible for providing that training. Deputy John Munson is a 29 year veteran with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department and has spent the last 25 years as not only a K-9 handler himself, but also the K-9 Trainer.
